Shutter speed: ½ a second
Aperture: f 9
ISO: 100

I think this photoshoot was successful and I learnt a lot about camera settings and ND filters. I was able to experiment with slow shutter speeds and motion blur using a tripod to ensure there was no camera shake and an ND filter to allow for a very slow shutter speed of 1/2 a second, without overexposing the image. Additional settings: aperture f 8.9-9.7 and ISO 100. Some images were underexposed in the beginning as I worked out which setting worked best on the particular day, and some were overexposed, however the majority of the shoot is well exposed as we figured out the best settings. There were a few obstacles during the process such as: people avoiding the camera instead of walking through the frame, for this we told anyone walking past that it was okay to walk into frame and they began to do so, there was also the task of finding a busy enough spot for the photos to be successful, and after experimenting in two previous areas, we decided on a busy walkway which worked well. I enjoyed this photoshoot and found that I like the effect that a slow shutter speed creates, I want to carry on using this technique in my future work and hopefully improve even more on the technique, however, if I were to do this shoot again, I would experiment with an even slower shutter speed to really enhance the motion effect.
